The creative process hasn´t really changed since I first started taking photographs. It is an exploration, a discovery of the world which we all inhabit and the subjects which present themselves. The subject is not always obvious, it has to be unearthed through shooting and further and further scrutiny as you see into things and respond intuitively.

Sometimes the search is literally sparked by ´dreaming´ through the creative meditation of working. The process and pursuit of any subject is always done through a series of photographs and is a continually reductive - additive and intuitive journey.

Naturally one has techniques for shooting portraits or still lives, landscapes or for any commercial commissions. The aim however is always to do something resoundingly unique that I have never seen before. It needs complete integrity and the´magic´of what comes through the lens, the minds eye and the´energy´of the moment.
